Sokol airbase as usual will organize special celebration of Victory Day. A lot of Sokol emploees and pilots took part in World War 2. Sokol plant also was one of the main manufactures of the planes for Soviet Airforces during World War 2 period.

The celebration of Victory Day will start at May 9 with the special meeting on the square closed to the airbase and will include the General Director Alexander Karezin greeting to WW2 veterans, minute of silance for the memory of all died at the War and after - the concert of the artists for the veterans and all Sokol staff.

At the end all people will see the small airshow from Sokol flight station. Our pilots will show in this day the aerobatic on our legendary Mig29 and also on our civil aircraft M101T.
