After long Russian winter a real spring with sun and hot temperature comes to Nizhny Novgorod.

This winter in Russia was really terrible - snow, cold, wind! Brrrr!!!! We thanks all our clients, who were not afraid of this and trusted our staff and performed a flight in winter time. But it was a great experience - to fly a MIG-29 during real Russian winter!

But now the picture of our runway is much more better and we open a new Spring - Summer Flying Season - top time for MIG flights in Russia!

We start this new season from a great event in Russia - the 50th Anniversary of the first human flight to Space. April 12 is a special date for all aviation and space fans, but this year it was extraordinary.
Sokol airbase staff was involved in a lot of events, related to the celebration of Yuri Gagarin flight to Space. Sokol pilots and technical staff took part in a lot of presentations and lectures in schools and Universities of Nizhny Novgorod with the aim of popularization of the aviation and space topic.
And the key moment was a special flight of a private client Mr. Colin Jobins from UK on April 12,2011 with the aim to pay attention to Gagarin's historical flight!!! It was really unique event - a flight of a private client in MIG-29 fighter in the Gagarin's flight Anniversary!

It's necessary to underline, that after this date we have an increase of flying clients! The people still want to be in the air and to fly like a birds!
