On February, 18th Sokol Directors Board has made the decision about preschedule - since February, 27th - the termination of powers of the general director Michail Shibaev on the basis of its personal statement for clearing of a post on a state of health. Making of the given personnel decision, councillors of directors and its Chairman the Executive vice-president of Open Society UAC from a name of Sokol Board and managements of UAC have expressed to Shibaev gratitude for an honest work on a post of the director with which it occupied since 2003, and the contribution brought by it in development of factory and all aviabuilding branch of Russia. Sokol for a period of 3 years selected a new general director - Alexander Karezin. Again selected general director of Sokol will start execution of the duties since February, 28th, 2009. Mr. Karezin was born on December, 27th, 1964 in Gorky (nowadays the Nizhny Novgorod). In 1987 has ended the Kazan aviation institute on specialities "Aircraft construction". In 1998 has ended courses of young managers under the Presidential program at institute of assistance to foreign trade, and in 2004 - institute of improvement of professional skill of workers of mechanical engineering and instrument making on specialities "Operation of business". At Sokol - since April, 1987. In 1987-1999 worked as the master and the chief of technological bureau in modular shop, in 1999-2003 years - 1st assistant to the main controller, in 2003-2006 years. - the head of department of logistics, in 2006-2008 years. - the chief of assembly line, since April, 2008 on the present - the deputy general director on manufacture. He is married with two daughters. Mr. Karezin has thanks and encouragements from city administration, in 2005 is awarded by the Certificate of honour of the Ministry of the industry and power of the Russian Federation.
