Our Sokol air base offers tourists a unique and exclusive flying program in one of the world's most advanced fighter jets - the MiG-29 – "Fly to the Edge of  Space with advanced aerobatics flight in a marvelous MiG-29 fighter-jet".

This flight program is currently the most popular and its high appeal is brought about by the fact that this program contains several different flight aerobatics and, therefore, the tourist can amass a variety of positive emotions and new experiences.

Everyone who wishes to participate in the "Sky + Space" program will first fly to the maximum possible altitude in the MiG-29 and so see the boarders of space and marvel the wonderful view of the Earth; feel the immensity of Space and frailty of human kind. You will experience a speed of more than 2500 Km per hour (Mach 2.5) as if in a rocket. Truly, it is an unforgettable experience and the view of the border of Space (Edge of Space) viewed from the cabin of our modern fighter jet MiG-29 will remain in your memory forever. You will reach and remain at maximum altitude for about 5 minutes which will provide enough time to observe the extraordinary beautiful surroundings. Your being at this high altitude is absolutely safe as you will be wearing a special high-altitude pressurized flying suite and the cabin of the fighter jet will be also be fully pressurized.

After staying at the maximum altitude, fighter jet will be descend gradually to an altitude of between 5 and 6 km when the pilot will begin performing his aerobatics. Maneuvres such as the Hammer Head, Flying Inverted, Loop, Roll, Low Level Pass and others will be executed for you. Having a constant connection with the pilot will enable you to communicate your wishes or requests to modify the program or intensity of the aerobatics. G-forces can reach between 3G and 7G. Thus, the second part of the program will let you sample and feel the possibilities of this modern fighter jet and admire its real power. You will also appreciate the pilot"s expert handling in a very proficient manner.

Upon landing successfully, you will be given personalized Certificate commemorating the flight and your participation, along with a photo-session with the pilot. If you have a flight book it will be recorded in it, describing the flight in a MiG-29 military fighter jet.

The pre-flight preparation for the Sky + Space flight program itself lasts for half an hour. Tourists may discuss the flight's program with the pilot, talk to the doctor about the state of their health, change into a high altitude suit and don special equipment (oxygen mask, helmet, etc.). Customers will be instructed on the MiG-29 fighter jet, and they will inspect the main components and parts of the plane. Then they will be led to the cockpit to occupy the co-pilot's seat, be familiarized with the main control instruments and finaly, briefed upon how to act in an emergency.
