MiG-29 (Fulcrum by NATO classification) - is a legendary soviet/Russian 4th generation jet fighter. It is used air forces in more than 25 countries. Its flying and qualitative characteristics changed the thinking of manufacturers from all parts of the world even now. MiG-31 (Foxhound by NATO classification) - MiG-31 is a two-seat supersonic fighter-interceptor and the first Russian 4th generation military jet fighter. First constructed 25 years ago, it is still the fastest high-altitude jet fighter in the world today. The MIG 31 is an almost unique fighter jet that is capable of intercepting and destroying aircraft shaped missiles, flying at the very low altitudes. A group of four MiG 31 jet fighters is capable of scanning air space for 800-900 km. Countries as Russia, China, Kazakhstan and others use the aircraft as part of their air forces. MiG-21 (Fishbed by NATO classification) - is a multi-purpose soviet fighter, manufactured by development design office Mikoyan and Gurevich in middle 1950s. It is the most widespread supersonic jet fighter in the world. It was mass produced in the USSR from 1959 until 1986 and also in Chechoslovakia, India, and China. That is why about 3,000 MiG 21 are now operated by the air forces of more than 40 countries. The MiG 21 is close to setting another world record in the number of the upgraded aircraft.
